Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

A consumer may cancel an online purchase during a cooling-off period of 14 days without giving any reason, provided that:

  1. the product has not been used
  2. the product has not been altered
  3. the product has no attempted installation that requires soldering or welding
  4. it is not a product that can spoil quickly, like food or flowers
  5. the product is not specially tailored for the consumer or adapted to its special needs
  6. it is not a product that may not be returned for hygienic reasons (underwear, swimwear, etc.)
  7. the seal is still intact, when the product is a data carrier with digital content (DVDs, CDs, etc.)
  8. the product is not a (holiday)trip, a transportation ticket, a catering order or a form of leisure activity,
  9. the product is not a separate magazine or a loose newspaper
  10. the consumer has not renounced his right of withdrawal

The cooling-off period of 14 days as referred to in paragraph 1 commences:

  1. on the day after the consumer has received the last product or part of 1 order
  2. as soon as the consumer has received the first the product of a subscription
  3. as soon as the consumer has confirmed the purchase of digital content via the internet

The consumer can notify his right of withdrawal via info@syf.nl, if desired by using the withdrawal form in the self service account center: https://account.syf.gg

The consumer is obliged to return the product to SYF within 14 days after the notification of his right of withdrawal, after which period his right of withdrawal will lapse.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Shipping charges
Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable.
You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of or damage to the product during shipping, both to and from SYF.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
